The word Poverty has always been present in our society. From the medieval farmers who earned just enough to live, to the homeless of nowadays who survive on the alms that people give them on the street. It is clear that the world is full of inequalities, your way of life is decided at birth: in which family you are born, where you were born, when you were born... That means that everyone does not have the same opportunities to become who want to be, people who are born in a poor environment have many more obstacles than people born in a rich family.

This photo perfectly represents what I have said previously, you can see a man sitting on the street with a sleeping bag, he is asking for money, but nobody is helping him or giving him a little bit of money, the question is WHY? Well, we return to the same thing, today's society is so used to seeing misery every day that we are unable to put ourselves in the shoes of that man since we always think the same thing "it is impossible for me to end up in that situation", but as the world is being managed nowadays, it will not be strange that someday some of us end up asking for money on the street.

This image has hidden messages, for example, if you pay attention to the photo, it does not focus on the man, what is in the center of the image is a McDonalds glass that the man uses to ask for money, for me this is a way of criticizing big multimillion dollar companies, it is a way of saying "Hey! there are multimillion dollar companies with such economic power that they could buy an entire country while there are people trying to survive on the street". In the background of the image, you can see another homeless person talking with a guy, although in this photo more than one person appears, the power of one is used to help you understand what the homeless person feels at the same time as it shows that there are more people suffering in the same way. It is clear that this man is not living in a dignified way, if you look at his socks and shoes they are dirty and wet, he surely does not have a house so he would have been wet from the rain since all the ground is wet, he also has a leather jacket and a blue sweatshirt that surprisingly do not look very dirty, this is surely the only clothes he has so he must take care of it, but if you look at his hands and shoes we can see dirt, I guess he will already long time since his last shower while we take a shower and change clothes at least once a day, he is not in good physical condition, he looks malnourished and tired since he should not eat enough to have energy, while we eat at least 3 times a day, sleeping in that sleeping bag and in the cardboard should be uncomfortable and he shouldn’t get enough sleep for his brain to perform normally, while we sleep every day on a mattress with its bed base and its pillows. I am not complaining about all the comforts and luxuries that I receive from belonging to a middle class, I simply say that there are many people with more money than they can spend, living in mansions with enough space to accommodate a few families while there are people who cannot eat.

It seems stupid to me that the relevance of a person in the history of humanity is based on the family in which he is born, I believe that by giving the same opportunities to all people, society would advance more, I put my hands to the fire and I am sure I am not mistaken when I say that many of the people who could advance us as a society are repressed, either because they do not receive a good education or they do not have the same opportunities as other people.
