Although poverty is a phenomenon as old as human history, its significance has changed over time. We have looked intoit, we have defined it...but today, with this work, we want to focus our attention to another kind of poverty: the lack of morals and ethics of a society which tends to turn a blind eye on the most needed, the most vulnerable: the ones who lack enough means to go on.

"Turning a Blind Eye" is meant to be a cry, a shout..to those who want to be deaf to a huge problem in the modern world of the 21st century. A worl which will be left into a deeper misery as the coronavirus pandemic spreads through every single place on the planet.

And the, the question posed is simple: what will we do? Will we pretend not to see the problem? Will we have the guts to leave half humanity behind...seeking their own salvation? Or else, will we act? Will we do our best? Or will we lack the humanity we nedd to be considered humns ?

Time will tell. Let's cross fingers!
